Who We Are

Stratford Soccer Association

The Stratford Soccer Association (SSA) is a group of volunteers who represent over 1600 soccer players of all ages, genders and abilities, who play soccer within the City of Stratford.  Established in 2006, the SSA was created to give a voice to soccer groups in Stratford, including individual teams, leagues, and clubs.

 

Our goals are to:

  • Establish tenure on all of the fields on which we play. Currently over 50% of Stratford’s soccer facilities are on private property and, as has happened in the past, the land was sold or needed by the owner for development and soccer was left looking for other facilities.
  • Establish a permanent building and proper viewing facilities for spectators at the newly installed (2019) Artificial Turf field (Cowan).
  • Build a dedicated indoor soccer facility.
